Why should I become a referee?
Becoming a referee is an excellent part time job. Whether you are currently a player, a former player looking to stay involved with the game, someone with 0 soccer experience looking for a great paying part time job, or anyone in between. Becoming a referee is the job for you! So why not give it a try and become a referee!
What if I make a mistake?
At TJSC we strive to create a positive environment where are referees can feel comfortable, be challenged, and learn. At TJSC we will never be mad at you for a mistake. In fact we expect you to make mistakes. Every referee will make mistakes, but referees learn from their mistakes and become better. If you come and give a good effort with an open mind you will be a successful referee at TJSC.
“Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence” (Vince Lombardi in his 1st meeting with the Green Bay Packers as head coach).
